Hot Dogs (A Poem by Mark Borne)

We're like hot dogs,
Delicious food topped
With all sorts of dreams.
Then, slowly, Time eats
Us away, and the pain
Grows until we are gone.
So why even bother?
Because a life lived
For nothing is a life
Wasted, when we could
Have made a difference.

Author's Note: This poem will be available on the Nexus of Writers on the 21st, however this blog gets it a day early!

  1. This is an advertisement, a filler post, and a reason for my blog readers to pay attention to this blog :D It's a win-win-win!

    2. I know; I saw the draft of the other post and read it (sorry, impatience; I see a drafted post and I get curious :P ) which is what gave me the idea to create a filler post

Anyways, hope you feel better soon! :(
